Documentation
Privacy-first image and PDF tools that run entirely in your browser. No uploads, no accounts, no server — your files never leave your device.
Getting started
Getting started
OmegaPix runs in any modern browser — there is nothing to install to begin.
- Go to omegapix.app.
- Pick a tool from the home page (for example, Image Compressor or Compress PDF).
- Drop a file onto the tool, or click to pick one from your device.
- Adjust any options the tool offers (quality, target size, format, dimensions).
- Download the result.
Tip: nothing is uploaded at any step. The file you drop in and the result you download both stay on your device.
Privacy & how in-browser processing works
Privacy & how in-browser processing works
Each tool runs as WebAssembly inside your browser tab. When you select a file, it is read into memory in the page and processed there. The result is written back out for you to download. No upload request carrying your file is made to a server.
What this means
- No uploads. Your files are not transmitted over the network for processing.
- No account. There is no sign-up, email, or API key.
- No limits. There are no per-file caps or credits.
- Offline-capable. Once a tool has loaded, it can keep working without a connection.
Tip: the EXIF/metadata remover and PDF metadata remover let you strip identifying metadata from files locally before you share them anywhere else.
